Jessi Mason is a singer/songwriter from Westchester, New York. Her songs are honest and intimate, her voice sweet and soulful. Jessi started playing guitar when she was nine years old and began writing original music shortly after. Writing for her is, "a way to express something that [she'd] otherwise be afraid to say out loud."
Mason hopes that the qualities of artists who've influenced her, such as Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Emily King, pour out of her music and performances.
She performs around New York and L.A. in venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, The Viper Room, and The Hotel Cafe.
Jessi currently studies performance and songwriting in the Popular Music Program at University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, and just released her second EP, Night Owl.
